our story
It all began in 2010 when a son approached his mom about the idea of creating an inclusive theatre program for those with disabilities. What started with six kids in a strip mall has grown into a mainstage production with over 70 participants.

Now, we're expanding our reach to help change the narrative around neurodiversity by growing our offerings to include educational outreach programs that help children understand neurodiversity and learn to look for the remarkabilities innate in everyone.

our philosophy
The Remarkability Project helps communities see the remarkable qualities of neurodiverse individuals through the power of storytelling. By offering free programs for individuals with remarkabilities, our programs create opportunities to learn new skills and change the narrative on neurodiversity their unique gifts through community performances.

See Shelley, our executive director, talk about the power of looking for the remarkable in everyone we meet.
